Hair favourite: Fructis Fruity Passion

I have a new favourite shampoo and conditioner set: the Fructis Fruity Passion hair line. They don't contain any parabens or silicones (bad for your hair/skin) and the scent.. oh the scent; it smells exactly like a passion fruit cocktail, and passion fruit happens to be one of my favourite fruits so it's a match made in hair care heaven.

Look elsewhere for sportswear

Now that everyone's getting a little sporty due to the semi-nice weather and upcoming bikini season, it's time for a post about sportswear. Recently I've seen some very cool sportswear. Not only at Nike and Adidas (the Stella McCartney collection is amazing), but also at less conventional shops like Bershka, Oysho and Victoria's Secret. Below are the sporty yet fashionable items that I spotted, which will make you stand out from the Nike-wearing crowd! The leopard shorts are my favorite but there's only so many running shorts one actually needs...
Go to the gym T-shirt - Oysho
Leopard shorts - Bershka
Tie dye hair ties, soft enough to wear around your wrist - Oysho (I found almost the exact same ones at H&M today!)
Seamless top - Oysho
Seamless sweatshirt - Oysho
Cute loose fit top with heart cut-out back - Victoria's Secret
Leggings - Bershka
Tennis dress - Oysho
Neon orange top - Oysho
Neon yellow sports bra - Bershka
Loose fit grey jumper - Oysho
Sports bag - Victoria's Secret

Sadly, Oysho is only available in some countries like Italy and Spain, but you can order online and when you sign up for the newsletter you get 15% off. I can't wait for an Oysho shop to open in London or Belgium because they have really nice swimwear, gymwear and cute pyjamas.

Antwerp Vreemdelingenmarkt (foreigners market)

If you're in Antwerp on a Saturday, there's a place you mustn't miss: de Vreemdelingenmarkt; the foreigners market. I believe it got this name because of the exotic food you can buy here: Turkish, Moroccan, Italian but also local products. It's just a massive market, with a foreign touch. It's open every Saturday and the perfect place to grab a bite before a shopping trip. And that's exactly what we did last time I was in Belgium...

Pretty florals

Despite being a flower girl, the amount of florals in my wardrobe is surprisingly little. I think florals can easily look a little too kitsch for my taste, but combined with more simple items it can look great. For example a floral pair of shorts with a simple white T-shirt, a floral blazer with an all-white outfit or dressed down with a pair of jeans, or a floral dress with simple sandals. Click on the item names below to go straight to the website, all items are from Zara, Bershka or Pull&Bear (thank you Inditex for always making such great clothes!)
1. Top 2. Cardigan 3. Shorts 4. Shorts 5. Blazer 6. Headband 7. T-shirt 8. Dress

Or what about a floral headband, paired with a little white dress? Two days ago I booked tickets to fly to Sweden for midsummer, which is a dream come true! I can't wait to wear one of those beautiful flower crowns, or even attempt at making my own?

Sticks 'n Sushi, Wimbledon

I think I might have found a new favorite sushi restaurant (not counting Nobu). It's called Sticks 'n Sushi, and it's a little bit further away from the heart of London, in Wimbledon, but it's much better than most of the mid-priced Central London sushi places. My friend Katarina had been talking about this place numerous times so when she finally planned a girls night at Sticks 'n Sushi, I was filled with anticipation. And it managed to exceed my expectations...

Most loved I

A new type of post on the blog, most loved: a collection of my favorite things of the moment. I was home again last weekend and took some photos of my favorite things. So here is my most loved...

Drink: Kusmi Bouquet of Flowers tea
This is one of the teas we bought in Antwerp and it's really good. I usually don't like dark teas so much (I always drink herbal teas), but with a little milk this bouquet of flowers was really tasty and surprisingly sweet.

Pastime: flower arranging
If you didn't know already, I'm a flower girl. I'm always secretly picking flowers in Regent's Park, or from random flower pots in the city, scared to get caught. But when I'm home, there's no restrictions so I pick as many flowers as I want and fill the house with bouquets.

TV show: The Borgias
This show is totally addictive and SO good! It's about a Roman family in 1492 and the drama and crime that surrounds them. IMDB rates it 7.9/10 but for me it's a 9/10! Give it a try, watch a few episodes and you might get hooked like me.

Make-up product: Catrice Camouflage Cream
This the best concealer I've tried so far. Very pigmented, great coverage, long lasting and it's a drugstore brand. You can get it for 2 or 3 euros at Kruidvat (Belgium, Holland and Germany).

Flowers: Azalea
The colours are breathtaking, the scent is amazing and they are simply beautiful. Possibly my favorite flower in the world, even though picking my favorite flower is like picking my favorite meal: nearly impossible.

Breakfast: banana pancakes
I make these light and fluffly pancakes a few times a week. I've written about them before in this post. I've perfected my recipe now (key ingredients: bananas, eggs, milk, flour, cinnamon). The more often you make them, the better they get!

Treat: tiramisu
One of my favorite desserts yet one of the most difficult ones to make in terms of creating the right balance between all the ingredients. I still haven't found the perfect recipe yet but I liked this tiramisu because I only added 1 egg (I don't like the eggy taste of tiramisu). I will share the recipe once it's perfect.

Snog frozen yogurt, Marylebone

One of my favorite sunny treats is frozen yogurt. Low in calories, fat and it tastes better than ice cream (but I'm not a big ice cream lover generally; Häagen-Dazs Macadamia Nut Brittle and Yukimi Daifuku are my exceptions though). The best part of frozen yogurt is choosing the toppings. Wouldn't it be great to be able to choose as many toppings as you liked? Your wish is granted with Snog's newest shop in Marylebone.

Dream designer bags

Whether it's a Birkin or a Chanel 2.55, (nearly) every girl dreams of designer handbags. I really treasure the ones I have, but I'm afraid I'm still hungry for more. So I made a little list of the bags I'm lusting after the most (thanks to Esmée's post). Most of them are classic, black because I think when you invest in a designer bag, you should be able to use a lot.

Favorite read: Babylon

I've never told you about my favorite books: the Babylon series. There are 7 books: Beach Babylon, Hotel Babylon, Fashion Babylon, Pop Babylon, Air Babylon, Wedding Babylon and the latest addition: Hospital Babylon. Each one of them is a collection of anecdotes, stories and shocking facts, provided by "anonymous" and condensed into one book by Imogen Edwards-Jones. Revealing all the untold secrets behind each industry, it's a real treat to read.  True or not, I'm really amazed at some of the things I found out. I don't want to give anything away so you'll have to read them yourself!

So far I've read Fashion Babylon, Pop Babylon and Beach Babylon, the last one being my favorite. I've just re-read Fashion Babylon, which reminded me how much I like these books and now I can't wait to read the others. I'm particularly curious about Hotel Babylon (on which the BBC series was based) and Air Babylon. If you're looking for a good read, I can only highly recommend these books!

A day in Antwerp

While I've been writing many posts about London, I've never properly introduced you to Antwerp, 'my' city. While I was in Belgium last week, I spent the day in Antwerp with my sister for a sample sale and I took loads of photos. Have a seat and grab a drink, this is going to be a LONG post!

Brazil Nut Body Butter is back!

While I was going through my Bloglovin feed, I saw a post that made me exited like a little kid: The Brazil Nut Body Butter from The Body Shop (TBS) has been re-introduced! My favorite body butter ever which I've been trying to buy the very last tubs of during each sale period (read my review). So this morning I check the website and see that it's only a limited edition collection. Bummer! I really need to get my hands on it. There's also a body mist, eau de toilette, oil and scrub that I can't wait to put my nose in. One of the best scents I've ever smelled!
I URGE everyone who hasn't tried this to go and have a sniff, you might fall in love just like me!
