Decadent porridge

Since my sister is as much as a food lover as I am, and an ever better cook, I asked her to document her favourite recipes for whiskers & lions. Hopefully she'll come up with lots of yummy things for us to try! Here's the first recipe: a decadent porridge, perfect for a lazy and chilly winter Sunday.  

You'll need:
- One banana
- Dark chocolate chips or finely chopped dark chocolate
- Vanilla protein powder (or vanille essence)
- Milk (or almond, rice, hazelnut milk)
- Slow cooking oats
- Some walnuts (or other) for the finishing touch

Take your oats (1cup) and milk (1 cup) first. Put it in a pan and add milk to the oats. Place the pan on low heat and add a small scoop of vanilla protein powder for some sweetness. You want your oats to be boiled very slowly, until it all becomes rich and creamy.


Cut up the banana in thin slices, chop up the chocolate and nuts, and place it all on top of the porrdige. Now you're all done, it's as simple as that. 

Enjoy in the winter sun with a hot cup of tea
