Adidas by Stella McCartney

Remember this post, where I shared some of my favourites of the Adidas by Stella McCartney collection? Well, this collection is the first thing I checked out when the sales started last week. I managed to find some pieces which I really love! I think the checked pattern items might be a love/hate thing, but I think it's really cute and different for workout clothes.

Meal prepping

You might have heard about meal prepping before, but for those of you who haven't or those of you who haven't done it before, here's a post explaining why I like meal prepping and why it's so great! Meal prepping is basically planning and preparing some meals for a couple of days or even a whole week. It's basically making leftovers on purpose. It doesn't only save loads of time and money, but it also helps you keep track of eating healthily.

The Detox Kitchen

I had wanted to try out the Detox Kitchen after seeing incredible detox kitchen dishes numerous times on Instagram. The Detox Kitchen is a tiny little deli on Kingly Street (there's also one in Harvey Nichols, top floor), only serving nutritious takeaway. If you know me a bit you know I love these types of places, so I was delighted when I finally had the chance to try it out.

Zara sale favourites

As always, I'm sharing with you my favourite items from the Zara sale. This season though, I don't have any items I specifically would like to add to my wardrobe. I already had a look around at the sale here in London but I'm waiting till the prices drop - at the end you make the best bargains! Do you have a wishlist for this sale season?

Legs & butt workout

Since I started going to the gym, I have built up a gym routine. Part of this routine is to train my legs/butt, also called leg days. Leg days are my favourite days of the week (it's the day after that hurts!), so today I wanted to tell you about the type of exercises I do on these days. I'm no expert and you should always ask someone about the correct form and technique (Youtube is also handy), but I love seeing other people's routines so I thought I'd share mine.

Summer mood

With the World Cup in full swing and the sun shining more and more it's time to share a fresh playlist. I'm not a very big football fan but I love things like the World Cup because it kind of unites everyone. Of course I'm supporting Belgium but also the Netherlands and Germany. Some the songs below are more suitable for an afternoon in the park and some are better for a sunset run or an early workout. Please share your favourite songs of the moment, I love songs that bring me in a summer mood :)

Most loved XI

I have been loving lots of things lately, so I won't waffle too much and get straight into it. Here's my most loved...

Jewelry: We Own The Night medal
I have been wearing this necklace almost every day since the race. Although the quality isn't great as you can see, I really love it and think it's so much better than a heavy medal. It reminds me of the race and my friends :)

Greek style salad

In summer, there's nothing better than having a light lunch outside, while getting your tan on. Okay, there is one thing which might make it even better: flavours that send you straight to a little Greek island (eyes closed + a liiitle imagination). I made this salad for lunch a while ago and it was perfectly light, fresh, while still having lots of different flavours. It makes the perfect lunch or barbecue side salad.

Amsterdam picture diary

On Wednesday I went to a city which I haven't been to very often: Amsterdam. It's silly because it's only a two hour train ride away from Belgium. So I wanted to see this city again and brought my brother along for a day of sightseeing and shamelessly acting like tourists.

Swiss chard green smoothie

I don't make green smoothies very often because I just prefer eating my greens rather than drinking them. But yesterday I found some Swiss chard in the garden so I decided to make a bright green smoothie, which turned out to be pretty good. Read on for the recipe!

On the Roof with Q

A new pop-up restaurant just opened, and it's a verrry good one. Location: Selfridges rooftop. I love rooftops in London because they provide the perfect escape from the busy London streets and of course they are perfect for tanning while eating/drinking. And oh my.. the food here is even better than the view!

May in pictures

I did skip April because I was so caught up in my dissertation, but here's my May in pictures (and a bit of April). Hope you enjoy it, but can you believe it's June already?!

I was in Belgium recently and before going back to London I picked a whole bunch of flowers to bring with me (crazy flower lady over here) // obsessed with iced lattes recently! I like them unsweetened like this one from Benugo

A few weeks ago, blogger Annemerel and her sister Roosmarijn stayed at my place for We Own The Night. I have been reading Annemerel's blog for a few years and both sisters were so lovely! I sent them to some of my favourite places in London, and Annemerel asked me to write some posts for her blog with my personal London recommendations. It's in Dutch, though you can find all reviews on my blog and map. I really enjoyed writing these posts, thanks Annemerel!

PB banana protein pancakes

My love for banana pancakes is still big. Even though it takes more time to make than any other of my favourite breakfasts, it's still a winner. Yesterday morning, I made banana protein pancakes with peanut butter and it tasted like heaven! It has more ingredients than regular banana pancakes but they also contain even more protein due to the whey protein, peanut butter and chia seeds. If you don't like peanut butter, you can also easily make them without or replace with almond butter.

Spring beauty favourites

I know I haven't written about beauty in quite some time. I do love beauty and make-up but lately I've kind of forgotten to feature it on my blog. So to make up (get it?) for it, I've collected a few of my most recent beauty additions and favourites to show you.
